Hollywood love triangles
“Twilight Saga” darling Kristen Stewart rocked the Robsten world when she issued a public apology Wednesday for a “momentary indiscretion” with Rupert Sanders, the married director of her recent film “Snow White and the Huntsman.” Stewart, who has been dating her “Twilight” costar Robert Pattinson for years, apparently had a “marathon makeout session” with Sanders, who is married to Liberty Ross. She did not deny the affair and instead issued the prompt apology, which was followed by an apology from Sanders saying that he was “utterly distraught about the pain” he caused his family.”
Being rich and famous doesn’t make dating and love any easier. Love triangle scandals have trailed many a star, and the Robsten incident highlights how infidelity can forever shadow a celebrity. More details are just one click away, evidence that Stewart’s drama isn’t exactly atypical.

The thespian was expecting his first child with longtime girlfriend Mary-Louise Parker in 2003 when he dumped her after seven years together. It seemed Crudup, who met Parker during a 1996 revival of William Inge’s play “Bus Stop,” had fallen for another actress. In 2004 he confirmed he was dating his “Stage Beauty” costar Claire Danes, although the couple denied an affair. The relationship eventually dissolved in 2006. The scandal broke when he walked out on his pregnant girlfriend, Shar Jackson, and their daughter Kori to be with the singer. The pair eventually filmed a reality show, got married and had two children of their own before a major split in 2007.
