Dodgers place Shawn Tolleson on DL, call up Josh Wall

The Dodgersannounced a pitching roster move just before Monday night’s game against the San Diego Padres, just not the one that Ted Lilly is waiting for.
Shawn Tolleson was placed on the 15-day disabled list with a lower back strain, and Josh Wall was called up from triple-A Albuquerque.
Both are right-handed relievers. Tolleson goes on the DL retroactive to April 13.
The Dodgers said Wall, who appeared in seven games last season, was on his way to Dodger Stadium and expected to be with the team sometime mid-game.
Lilly, who wants to be activated from the DL and join the bullpen, was actually headed the other way. Lilly dropped his objection to another rehab start and is scheduled to pitch Tuesday night in Albuquerque.
Tolleson was originally called up Friday to fill Zack Greinke’s spot on the roster. He appeared in one game, entering Friday in San Diego with the bases loaded, and walking in a pair of runs.
