Anybody have a poncho I can borrow?

Just got off the phone with California Cup tournament executive director Shaun Harris and he said tomorrow’s boys’ soccer championship game between Damien and Santa Margarita at 9 a.m. at Irvine Valley College will be played rain or shine -- it’s looking as if it will be rain, though.

I’ve been looking in my closest for a poncho I know I bought last year (well, two years ago now) but I’m having no luck finding it. I think I’m going to need it because weatherchannel.com is forecasting 90% chance of rain. The weather is going to affect a lot of people, not just me.

On the field, Santa Margarita is going to be the most affected by the mud and rain. The Eagles have a talented squad that is at its best when their speed and accurate passing is on point. Rain or shine, though, it should be an exciting match. Now, if could only find my poncho.
