Pasadena La Salle’s Matt Nolan, a 6-foot-6 senior, shattered the glass backboard at Pasadena Poly recently during the championship game of the Poly tournament. It was a moment to remember.
‘Everybody in the gym was stunned and my kids were ready to storm the court,’ Coach Steve Goldstein said. ‘Kids under the basket were scattering.’
