Football: Long Beach Poly seizing control against Carson

Long Beach Poly scuttled a Carson drive deep in Jackrabbits territory when it forced a Kevin McMahon fumble, with defensive lineman Raymon Price scooping up the ball and running 35 yards into Colts territory.

Gerard Wicks then carried the ball for a 30-yard gain and scored on a 13-yard touchdown to give Poly an 18-6 lead late in the second quarter. The Jackrabbits have scored 18 unanswered points.
