Santa Ana Mater Dei quarterback Ryan McMahon fumbled with 10:08 left in the fourth quarter on Corona Centennial’s 47-yard line. Two plays later and four seconds, Centennial, which recovered, capitalized and took a 21-20 lead after quarterback Hayden Gavett rushed for an eight-yard touchdown.
On the previous play, Gavett had rushed for 38 yards, and a penalty put them to just eight yards from the endzone.
