Standout junior point guard Parker Jackson-Cartwright of Los Angeles Loyola has been given doctor’s clearance to return to action after a month on the sideline because of an ankle injury.
Jackson-Cartwright won’t play in Friday’s Mission League game against Encino Crespi, but he could see limited action on Saturday in the Nike Extravaganza against Etiwanda after a planned workout in the morning with the school’s trainer.
Loyola hopes to gradually build up his strength and stamina in preparation for the playoffs that begin in two weeks.
