Julius M. Cohen was recently honored for “distinguished service” as president of the Leisure World Congregation Sholom. Cohen is president of the Council of Presidents for the Pacific Southwest Region of United Synagogues of America. There are 58 congregations in the region.
United Synagogue of America is an association of 830 conservative congregations in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
