Warren Lasko Will Move to Bankers’ Post

Warren Lasko, executive vice president of the Government National Mortgage Assn. has been named executive vice president of the Mortgage Bankers Assn. of America and will assume his new position on Feb. 9. He succeed Dr. Mark J. Riedy who became president of the Federal National Mortgage Assn. this month.
In his previous position, Lasko was responsible for administering the GNMA Mortgage-Backed Securities Program, which has financed more than $220 billion in housing for middle- and moderate-income families.
MBA is a national real estate finance trade association representing nearly 2,200 mortgage companies, commercial banks, life insurance companies, savings and loan associations and others in the mortgage lending field.
