Viacom International Inc. reported record revenues and earnings for 1984, despite a net earnings decline of 33% to $9.8 million for the fourth quarter. The fourth-quarter decline was due to a non-recurring loss related to the company’s Showtime/The Movie Channel and Cable Health Network transactions. Net earnings for 1984 were $30.6 million, up 8% from a year earlier.
