A ‘Sensitive’ Look at Lanterman
On Sunday, Jan. 27, the San Gabriel Valley section of The Times featured an article by Mark Gladstone on the Community Skills Training Center at Lanterman State Hospital in Pomona. It was a fine piece of reporting--objective, sensitive and unsentimental. Mr. Gladstone did a good job of telling how this workshop at Lanterman serves the commercial community as well as the resident and non-resident handicapped persons who work in it.
On behalf of the Parents Coordinating Council of Lanterman State Hospital, thank you for a community service and a reporting job well done. ELWOOD HAIN JR., Altadena
Corresponding Secretary
