Lions Club Prsents Award to Organizer.

The Lions Club of Hollywood has presented its 1985 Community Service Award to Erika Scarano, founder and president of the Neighborhood Action Group.
Scarano, a native of Dusseldorf, West Germany, was honored for her efforts to rid Hollywood of street prostitution. She formed the grass-roots group four years ago, organized protest marches against prostitution and sponsored legislation mandating tougher sentences for prostitutes and pimps.
