Southern Section Soccer : Esperanza Shuts Out Capistrano Valley, 2-0

Paul Good and Brent Bish scored to lead the Esperanza High School soccer team to a 2-0 win over Capistrano Valley Friday at Esperanza.
It was the 16th shutout this season for the Aztecs (20-0-1), who advance to the second round on Wednesday.
In other 3-A action:
Dana Hills 4, Arlington O--Four different players scored for the Dolphins (19-0-3) in the first-round game at Dana Hills. John Gunderson, Chris Butte, Bryan Finnerty and Ray Mitchell scored for Dana Hills, which plays in the second round on Wednesday.
Crespi 2, Pacifica 1--The Celts’ Alan Gwynn scored on a penalty kick with 20 minutes remaining to tie the score. Crespi won the game on penalty kicks after neither team scored in the overtime period.
