‘The Gipper’

It is hard to see why it has taken the people of this country so long to realize what the farmers are now finding out and what the elderly poor, the mothers with dependent children, the conservationists and environmentalists have known all along.
“The “G” in “Gipper” is pronounced as a soft--not a hard-- “G.”
