Legal files and a drug cabinet at the Feminist Women’s Health Center in Hollywood, where fire caused heavy damage earlier in the week, were reported ransacked during the night despite the presence of a security guard. Laura Brown, director of the organization that operates the center at 6411 Hollywood Blvd., complained that police seemed in no hurry to lift fingerprints after the burglary. Hollywood station officers, however, said they had to wait for a crew with sophisticated equipment because of the mess left by the fire. Arson investigators were still studying the cause of the Monday night blaze, which apparently began in a restaurant below the second-story clinic, whose work includes abortions.
