Richards, Knighten Sign With UCLA

Brandon Richards, considered the best high school pole vaulter in the country, has signed a national letter of intent to attend UCLA, the school announced Tuesday.
UCLA also signed one of the top female track athletes in the nation Chewuakii (Choo Choo) Knighten of Locke High School. Knighten is the national high school record-holder at 500 yards and is considered one of the top sprint prospects in the nation.
Richards, a senior at San Marcos High in Santa Barbara, was recently named the Track and Field News prep indoor athlete of the year.
