National Lumber & Supply Inc. said its new store in Fullerton set a sales volume record in its first two weeks of operation. The Fullerton store at 1100 S. Harbor Blvd. had total sales of more than $512,440 from June 28 through July 5, compared to the previous high of $403,842 for a new store set in February 1984 at the Culver City store. The Fountain Valley firm has 16 home-improvement stores in Southern California and intends to open new stores in Encinitas, San Bernardino and Fontana by December.
