Willie Wilson, outfielder for the Kansas City Royals, said he hopes to be running this weekend and to return to the team in less than the two weeks it was expected he would need to recover from an allergic reaction to penicillin.
Wilson has missed four games since he took a shot Saturday night to relieve a nagging cold. He had surgery Monday to relieve swelling caused by the shot.
