BLACKSTONE TRICKS FOR SMITHSONIAN

Magician Harry Blackstone Jr., a resident of Redlands, will donate two of his father’s original magic tricks--a floating light bulb and a cabinet that brings a handkerchief to life--to the Smithsonian Institution on Tuesday to commemorate the 100th anniversary of his father’s birth.
He will also give a performance during the ceremony.
