Pennzoil renewed a $2.5-billion credit line.

The Houston-based oil company gave no reason for renewing the line of credit, which it arranged four years ago to provide money for acquisitions. The company said the agreement with a consortium of banks headed by Chase Manhattan runs through Oct. 31, 1986.
