Four members of a Paskenta family were killed when a pickup truck crossed the center line on California 99 north of Chico and hit their car, the California Highway Patrol reported. Michael Rikard, 26, and his three children, ages 2, 3 and 5, were killed and Laurie Rikard, 24, was critically injured. A truck driven by Ufracio Ramos, 21, of Red Bluff crossed the line near Wilson’s Landing and hit the Rikard car, the CHP said.
