KEY PLAYS
On Kennedy’s first possession, senior running back Patrick Hardy ran 33 yards to set up quarterback Jeff Newman’s one-yard touchdown run. . . . Kennedy recovered a Cleveland fumble in the second quarter. Six plays later, Newman scored again from six yards. . . . Roman Carter of Kennedy scored twice after two more Cleveland fumbles, giving the Cougars a 29-0 halftime lead. . . . Carter had a 70-yard touchdown run on the first play of the third quarter. With the win, Kennedy moves into the playoffs.
