Steve Scott shook off Marcus O’Sullivan in the final 200 yards to win the first Merrill Lynch Fiesta Bowl Mile in Phoenix, covering the downtown course in 4 minutes 1.9 seconds. O’Sullivan finished second in 4:02 and Irish Olympian Paul Donovan was third in 4:06.
