Actress Elizabeth Taylor announced that a black-tie evening of entertainment will be held March 6 in San Francisco to raise $1 million for acquired immune deficiency syndrome research. It will be the first major event of the American Foundation for AIDS Research, which was formed last September in Los Angeles. Tickets for the gala, to be held in a symphony hall, will run from $250 to $2,500 a seat.
