Real Estate Forecast Program a Big Draw

The “Sold Out” sign is up for the 1986 annual Real Estate Forecast for Southern California at the Beverly Hilton on Jan. 27.
Its sponsor, the UCLA Graduate School of Management, announced that 1,400 persons have enrolled for the daylong conference in the hotel’s International Ballroom and that the meeting “will be the largest educational program ever put on by UCLA.”
Scheduled to begin at 8:30 a.m., the program includes forecasts by real estate and housing industry leaders as panelists dealing with economics, financing, realty development and ownership.
Speakers include Joseph F. Humphrey, vice president and chief economist for the Federal Home Loan Bank of San Francisco; Duane A. Paul, vice president and senior economist of the Bank of America; Prof. Fred E. Case, faculty member of the host school; Warren Eljenholm, president of Safeco Title Insurance; Stan Ross, managing partner of Kenneth Leventhal & Co.; Michael L. Tenzer, chairman of Leisure Technology Inc.; Bruce E. Karatz, president of Kaufman & Broad Development Group; Thomas J .A. Lavin, managing director, First Boston Real Estate, and Robert Lowe, chairman, Lowe Enterprises.
Case and Martin Stolzoff, executive vice president of Golden State Capital Group, are co-chairmen.
