Brown Leads UCLA Women to Win Over Stanford

Sophomore guard Jaime Brown scored 23 points, including two clinching free throws with nine seconds left, to lead the UCLA women’s basketball team to a 65-62 Pac-West victory over Stanford Friday night at Stanford. UCLA, which led by as many as 21 points, saw its lead cut to one point before Brown sealed the victory with her free throws.
UCLA is 9-10 overall, 1-2 in the conference. Stanford is 11-7 and 0-1.
