Kennedy’s Corrales Empire League Player of Year

Ed Corrales of Kennedy High School has been named the Empire League’s soccer Player of the Year in a vote of league coaches.
John Coppage of Esperanza and Ron Schwandt of Los Alamitos were named Co-Coaches of the Year.
Players named to the All-EmpireLeague team were: Karl Schlaich and Eric Olsen of Cypress; Ed Quigley, Brent Bish, Keith Barns, Luis Cabral and Tony Hernandez of Esperanza; Darren Matthews and Jeff Boucher of El Dorado; Greg Matlin and Scott Bogardus of Katella; Corrales and Ed Olague of Kennedy; Rob Katzaroff, Jason Zommick and Joquin Garcia of Los Alamitos; Chuck Lippincott and Sinei Abrahama of Loara; Mike Marsden and Mark Edgren of Pacifica.
