Autopsy Shows Man Shot: An autopsy determined that a man whose body was found Thursday morning by a highway crew in a drainage ditch near Bonita Canyon Drive had been shot in the head. The man, in his mid-20s, remains unidentified, police said Friday. The case is being investigated as a homicide. The cause of death is “about all we know,” said Sgt. Scott Cade. “Until we get him identified we’re at a standstill.” Police estimated that the man had been dead for 10 to 12 hours before the clothed body was found a quarter of a mile south of MacArthur Boulevard.
