Palm Springs Chief Going to Fort Worth

Thomas D. Hanlon, executive director of the Palm Springs Convention & Visitors Bureau for 16 years, will take a similar position in Fort Worth, Tex., July 7.
Hanlon plans to develop a tourism and convention program for Fort Worth.
Besides serving as executive director in Palm Springs, he represented that bureau earlier as director of advertising, publicity and promotion.
A graduate of the University of Maryland, Hanlon holds a master’s degree in tourism development and travel administration from The George Washington University, Washington, D.C.
