U.S. Electronics will acquire Pacific Stereo.

The Aurora, Colo., firm said it reached a preliminary agreement to acquire Pacific Stereo, the Emeryville, Calif., electronics chain, which filed for court protection from its creditors in March. The agreement--for which terms were not disclosed--is subject to approval by the bankruptcy court and by shareholders of Pacific. The chain had 64 stores in 1985.
