Siamese Twins Separated; Only 1 Survives Operation

ST. LOUIS — A 3-month-old Siamese twin who was separated from her sister died Thursday of extensive bleeding, a day after the lengthy operation involving as many as a dozen surgeons, hospital authorities said. Her sister remained in critical but stable condition.
