The reputed leader of the world’s largest cocaine-smuggling ring was extradited by Spain to his native Colombia to face charges of falsifying cattle export documents, ending a custody battle lost by the United States. Jorge Luis Ochoa, 36, is wanted in the United States on charges of smuggling 3,300 pounds of cocaine from Colombia into the United States via Nicaragua in 1984. He is not expected to face drug charges in Colombia.
