100 Flee as Petroleum Gas Explodes; 17 Are Injured

PETAL, Miss. — A leaking liquefied petroleum gas pipeline triggered a series of explosions at the Enterprise Products Co. LP storage facility Tuesday that injured 17 people and forced the evacuation of 100 workers, officials said. Automatic water hoses were used to spray the area, cooling tanker trucks and railroad cars at the storage and transportation facility.
