Kansas City Royals Manager Dick Howser was in satisfactory condition and “doing fine” at St. Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City where he will begin radiation treatments this week for a malignant brain tumor, officials said.
Howser will receive treatment five times a week for about five weeks. The team said it expects Howser to be released in about one week. His therapy will continue on an outpatient basis.
