Neighbors who heard a volley of shots found the body of Efrain Diaz, 24, with numerous chest wounds, in front of his Garden Grove home. Police said the shots apparently had been fired from a passing car. Police recently have been called to investigate several gang-related shootings in the Orange County neighborhood, but did not know whether gangs were involved in Diaz’s death. No one has been arrested.
