A 21-year-old man was hit twice by shots fired from a passing car in a possible gang-related shooting, a police spokeswoman said Monday.
Police spokeswoman Maureen Thomas said that Tony Lopez was standing with several friends in front of a residence in the 300 block of North Jackson Street at 11:18 p.m. Sunday when several shots were fired from a passing dark blue or black 1965 or 1966 Chevrolet. Lopez was hit in the leg and hand and taken to Fountain Valley Regional Hospital and Medical Center.
Thomas said no one else was injured in the shooting and police had no suspects.
