The arrests were made about 1:30 p.m. Wednesday after undercover officers attempted to buy cocaine, Jenkins said.
The suspects are John Otto Conti, 65, of Costa Mesa; James Wesley Lacey, 39, of Fountain Valley; Gerald Eugene Eppard, 40, no address given; Gabe Drapel, 33, of Los Angeles, and Cheryl Lene Hardison, 19, of El Monte, Jenkins said.
They were booked in Huntington Beach City Jail for possession and sale of a controlled substance.
