Bob Oates’ interview with Bill Walsh lacked answers to several questions that should have been asked. Why didn’t Mr. Oates ask Walsh about the late hit that Jim Plunkett received from a 49er last year that ended his season? Has Mr. Oates forgotten about Howie Long accusing the offensive line coach of the 49ers for teaching leg whipping last season?
