Beach Festival in San Pedro

I must admit, when I first heard about the Beach Scene I was more than a little skeptical. The part about it being a “Family Event” was especially hard to swallow. But I was wrong! In fact it turned into a “Neighborhood Family Event.” We found the days’ events just perfect for family and neighbor togetherness.
These events included “Broken Bottle Pickup.” “Beer Can Roundup,” “Parking Grand Prix” and “Urination Washdown.”
The Beach Scene attendees entertained us no end with their own events. “Street Boxing” and everyone’s favorite the “Male Dog Hoist-a-Leg.”
A special thanks to the parking enforcement for being so courteous to the party-goers by not giving tickets, or towing away cars that completely blocked our street. After all, one should expect that sort of treatment from a town that uses a scrap metal dump as a Welcome Sign.
