Remember when nepotism was a dirty word in Hollywood? How times have changed.

TV comedy tycoon turned film director Garry Marshall jokingly boasts that he finds room for virtually all of his relatives in each film he makes. The box-score for his latest, “Nothing in Common”: “My kids (Kathi and Scott play a tour guide and mail room boy, respectively), my cousins, my nieces, my next-door neighbor, my wife and--for one of the scenes with extras--most of my distant relatives,” Marshall said.

But now comedy director Blake Edwards, who frequently works with actress-wife Julie Andrews, is giving Marshall a run for his money. His new domestic comedy “That’s Life” (which opens here Sept. 26 from Columbia) co-stars Andrews and Jack Lemmon, plus Jennifer Edwards (Edwards’ daughter), Emma Walton (Andrews’ daughter), Chris Lemmon (Lemmon’s son) and Felicia Farr (Lemmon’s wife).
