MicroPro announced a major reorganization.

As part of the reorganization, Gari Grimm of Adler & Co. will become general manager of MicroPro, a leading supplier of microcomputer word processing software. H. Glen Haney, the previous chief executive, will join Adler & Co. as a consultant on direct investments in mainframe-related products. While the company said it would increase the number of employees in sales and support, cutbacks elsewhere in the firm will result in a reduction of about 20% of its 208 employees in the United States.
