Leon Schwab, whose now defunct Hollywood drugstore was famous as a gathering place for the stars, was released from Holy Cross Hospital in Mission Hills after treatment for a fainting spell, a hospital spokeswoman said. Earlier reports that Schwab, 74, had suffered a heart attack were incorrect, she said. He had been admitted to the hospital Monday in serious condition.
