Maywood : Transit Fees to Double

The City Council voted Tuesday to raise fees for the Maywood Area Transit system--which has dial-a-ride service from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday--from 25 cents to 50 cents effective Oct. 1. Senior citizens and the disabled are exempted.
