Maywood : Damage Claim Approved

The City Council Tuesday approved a claim for $135 filed by Matthew Binder, Maywood’s city engineer, to pay to fix a dent on his car.
City Clerk Leonard Locher said Binder filed the claim after a baseball hit his car when he was passing by Maywood Park, near 58th Street and Heliotrope Avenue. Such claims are usually denied and forwarded to the insurance carrier.
