The Chicago Blackhawks must give defenseman Jerome Dupont, center Ken Yaremchuk and a fourth-round selection in the 1987 draft to Toronto, and the New York Islanders must send defenseman Paul Boutilier to Boston as compensation for signing free agents, an arbitrator ruled.
The Blackhawks owed Toronto for signing former Maple Leafs’ defenseman Gary Nylund, and the Islanders owed Boston for signing former Bruin defenseman Brian Curran.
