Fresno State Defeats SDSU Men in Soccer

San Diego State’s men’s soccer team scored first at Fresno State Wednesday night but ended up losing its first match of the season to the Bulldogs, 3-1.
Aztec forward Kyle Whittemore, who missed last season with a broken leg, put SDSU up early, but Fresno State’s Dan Dutra made the score 1-1 just before the half. Second-half goals by Mike Sotello and Andrew Parker raised Fresno State’s record to 5-1.
