Next Year, the Dodgers May Be Front-Page News
- Share via
In referring to The Times as a “fair-weather fan,” Carolyn Leutzinger seems confused about the proper function of a newspaper. It is to be a dispenser of news; therefore, an objective observer, not a fan.
One can debate how The Times or any other newspaper does its job, but it is rather silly to expect the Dodgers’ race for last place in their division to be put on the front page during one of the busiest sports seasons of the year.
All we Dodger fans can do at this point is hope that next year at this time our boys in blue will be doing something to warrant daily front-page coverage.
