Indiana, Redman Win Stanford Women’s Golf

STANFORD — Indiana University’s Michelle Redman shot a 3-over par 221 to win the Stanford Women’s Intercollegiate golf tournament Sunday.
Indiana, which won the team title with a 907, had Tracy Chapman tie for second place with a 222. Chapman tied Tami Henningsen of Southern Methodist.
Laurette Maritz helped United States International University finish sixth by shooting a 226, good for seventh place.
Karen Engberg shot a 228 for 11th place for San Diego State, which had a 997 and finished 18th in the 19-team field.
