Haig Says He Will Run

DENVER — Former Secretary of State Alexander M. Haig Jr. said Wednesday he intends to seek the 1988 Republican presidential nomination. “I intend to run,” Haig, 61, told executives of the General Electric Credit Corp. “As of today, I have no doubt about it.”
