Now, Robinson Says That Everett Is Ready to Play, but Not as a Starter

For rookie Ram quarterback, Jim Everett, the waiting has been the hardest part.

But all that changed Wednesday, when Coach John Robinson announced that Everett will play either this Sunday against New England or the following week at home against the New Orleans Saints.

Everett is not expected to start and how much he will play is a secret.

“I want people to say, ‘Oops, he’s in the game,’ and then, ‘Oops he’s out of the game,’ ” Robinson said, apparently having changed his mind about playing Everett only in a lopsided game.
